charge piping on 2017–2019 Chevrolet and GMC 6.6L Duramax trucks. The kit uses 3-inch piping in place of the factory 2.5-inch pipes and removes the hot-side resonator for a less restrictive charge-air path. Fitment 2017–2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD / 3500HD — 6.6L Duramax L5P 2017–2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD / 3500HD — 6.6L Duramax L5P Note: Does not fit 2020+ L5P trucks or earlier Duramax engine families. Key Features 3-inch charge piping replaces the factory 2.5-inch hot-side and cold-side pipes. Resonator-free hot side provides a smoother charge-air path between the turbo and intercooler. Two-piece pipe design simplifies positioning and installation in the engine bay. Reinforced silicone boots use an oil- and heat-resistant inner liner. Constant-tension T-bolt clamps maintain clamping pressure through heat cycles. CNC-machined cold-side fitting includes a new O-ring and spring clip. Two sensor bungs can be drilled and tapped for additional boost or temperature sensors. Installation The kit installs in place of the factory intercooler piping and includes the required silicone boots, clamps, O-ring, and spring clip. Transfer the factory intake air temperature sensor and harness to the replacement piping. No tuning or recalibration is required. Frequently Asked Questions Does this L5P intercooler pipe kit require tuning? No. The piping can be installed without changing the factory engine calibration. Are the pipes larger than the factory L5P pipes? Yes. The kit uses 3-inch piping compared with the factory 2.5-inch charge pipes. Are boots and clamps included? Yes. Silicone boots, constant-tension T-bolt clamps, a cold-side O-ring, and a spring clip are included. Does this kit fit 2020 or newer L5P trucks? No. This kit is specifically designed for 2017–2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD / 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax L5P.",{"_21":563,"_127":564},"Replace restrictive factory hot and cold side pipes.
