Why Upgrade Your Duramax Downpipe?

Factory downpipes are built to meet emissions and cost targets — not performance. A high-flow aftermarket downpipe reduces restriction right at the turbo outlet, where backpressure has the greatest effect on spool time and exhaust gas temperatures. Truck owners commonly pair a downpipe upgrade with a tune or EGR delete kit for maximum gains.
