Customer Reviews
4.9 out of 5
Based on 19 reviews
“I purchased the MiniMaxx V1 for my 2015 F250 and it has been great. I get the CCV code but as it says, it does not affect the performance. The mileage increase is great also. I get about 19mpg with big tires at 80mph. Pulling my 44' fifth wheel it drops like a rock, about 11, but the power is unbelievable. Well worth the investment. I have the V2 for one of my other trucks, can't wait to get it working...”
“Complete kit with quality components. Shipping was fast (3 days). Truck has more power everywhere in the RPM range after install.”
“Noticeable power increase across entire RPM range. EGTs dropped significantly when towing. Tuner mount could be more sturdy.”
“ECM service took 5 days total. EGTs dropped 300F post-EGR delete. AutoCal software has a steep learning curve but powerful features.”
“T304 stainless shows no corrosion after winter. Truck pulls harder uphill and sounds amazing. Mini Maxx's data logging is incredibly useful.”
“DPF pipe needed minor trimming for my 2012. Had one missing bolt in the EGR kit, but hardware store fixed that. Still runs much better now.”
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in a complete 6.7L Powerstroke delete kit?
A true all-in-one kit for your 6.7 Powerstroke includes three critical components: the Mini Maxx V2 tuner to reprogram the ECU, a full EGR valve and cooler delete kit to eliminate a key failure point and your choice of a high-flow DPF delete pipe or a full 4" or 5" stainless steel exhaust system. This package provides everything you need for a ford F250 or F350 delete in one purchase, ensuring compatibility for all models between 2011 to 2019.
How much horsepower does a Mini Maxx tuner add to a deleted 6.7 Powerstroke?
When combined with the included EGR delete kit and DPF delete pipe, the Mini Maxx V2 tuner unlocks significant power hidden by factory emissions tuning. While exact gains depend on the specific tune level selected, owners of a 2015 6.7 Powerstroke or 2018 6.7 Powerstroke can expect dramatic improvements in horsepower, torque, throttle response and fuel economy, transforming the truck's performance for both towing and daily driving.
Is a 2011-2014 Powerstroke delete kit different from a 2015-2019 kit?
Yes, there are important differences. While our store offers a kit for the entire 2011-2019 range, Ford made changes to the engine and emissions systems over the years. It is crucial to select your specific truck year using the selector tool at the top of the page. This ensures you receive the correct Mini Maxx V2 tune files and that the physical components of the EGR delete kit and delete pipe are designed to fit your exact model, whether it's a 2011 F350 or a 2019 F250.
Is deleting a 2011-2019 Powerstroke legal and will it affect my warranty?
It is vital to understand that this 6.7L Powerstroke delete kit is for off-road use only. Furthermore, installing this kit will void your truck's factory powertrain warranty. Dealers can detect the tune from the Mini Maxx V2 device. This product is intended for off-road competition vehicles or where regulations permit.
What's the difference between T304 and T409 stainless steel for the exhaust?
The choice of material is key for longevity. Our T304 Stainless Steel exhaust option offers superior corrosion resistance, will not rust and retains its shine indefinitely, making it the best value for long-term durability. The T409 Stainless Steel is a more budget-friendly option but is less resistant to corrosion and may discolor over time, especially in harsh climates with road salt. Both are included as options in our complete F250 delete kit and other year-specific packages.
